i have os sound effects settings set mute. don't want computer making noises unless totally intentional on part. use macbook run backing tracks our band. truth is, in situation in computer hooked running loop or soft synth, and...

can't imagine how horrible if marimba started blaring on our sound system right in middle of soft song...

there way disable sound? think there should (none) choice when choosing ringtone, on ios 8. maybe terminal command? willing find ringtone file , replace blank audio file.

ideas?
 

would not disturb work?

Error installing Key Agent drivers in Windows 7

i reinstalled fresh bootcamp (windows 7 x64) on imac running yosemite. i'm having difficulty installing drivers, had first bypass issue x64bit drivers running through cmd admin errors "service 'key agent/mac hal' (keyagent/machaldrivers) failed start. verify have sufficient privileges start system services." have tried following instructions seemed answer this: i had exact same problem, on 17" mbp. in case, win7 event manager reported bootcamp 3.2 services failed install, in particular keyagent service (and without no apple keyboard , functions , apparently bootcamp icon doesn't show in system tray). event manager said bootcamp installer did not have sufficient permissions, went dial down user account control (uac) settings (in fact, turned off). should have seen when bootcamp 3.2 update running window ask permission continue (allow software install). instead, there silent failure. ok, turning off uac gives p
