Dual FirePro w7000 in Mac Pro 4.1/5.1

ok started post yesterday regard 3d modelling , fcpx/motion work , since have been searching net "best" gpu solution cmp (without addition psu). have looked firepro workstation cards w7000 has max power demand of 150w , takes single height space (heat dissipation) , single 6 pin power connection, (75w pci + 75w 6 pin connection) , i'm wondering if has ever done this? restrictions? full pci 2.0 usage? results? set under £600 ($1000) "best" solution there talks of r9 380 coming out in february?

gratefully of theoretical assumptions , real world results.
 

the radeon 3xx series rumoured 205w according unconfirmed leaked specs. able install 1 without external power supply.

safely install 2 w7000 @ 300w total there little power left other pcie devices when gpus operating @ peak.

think should go single radeon 3xx series. real world performance similar , health of mac more stable , longer.

New 2014 Mac Mini as living room media unit... general questions :)

hi everyone, relatively new apple world (came on android/windows) can impressed , happy made switch hoping insight experts here new setup. got new 2014 mini our living room media unit (will playing music, netflix, movies, internet browsing etc) - havent hooked yet. have 2 bookshelf speakers, 1 sub woofer, , center speaker sound setup goes avr, , of course flat screen tv. 1) question -- mini support 2.1 sound via hdmi avr? losing audio quality or audio features using mac mini? 2) internet browsing, there app or interface make ui better fit living room tv? i've read font/icons can hard read if enlarge them because mac mini not meant big tv? 3) plan plex server , plex media player mac mini, other loading movie/tv collection , playing off tv, there else cool missing here can this? 4) if have mac mini media unit, there purpose in owning roku @ point? thank you!!   ...
