What Ways Is Mavericks Better Than Mountain Lion?

i have cmp using exclusively logic pro x. works flawlessly on ml 10.8.5. understand mavericks has kind of dynamic ram allocation allow me utilize available ram (48 gb).

if don't need social features (eg notification center, dashboard) or additional security (don't surf web) ram usage benefit of mavericks? downside of mavericks no trim support ssds? advice!
 

my own personal experience mavericks on macbook pro 13 inch late 2011 4gb of ram , felt memory compression in mavericks made better use of limited ram mountain lion. little different 48gb situation.

other big advantage of mavericks supported longer mountain lion.

have since upgraded 16gb i'm running emulators (qemu) , virtual machines (vmware fusion). have never felt tempted go mountain lion.

i'm running trim on crucial ssd without problems. believe yosemite 1 might encounter problems trim.

Error installing Key Agent drivers in Windows 7

i reinstalled fresh bootcamp (windows 7 x64) on imac running yosemite. i'm having difficulty installing drivers, had first bypass issue x64bit drivers running through cmd admin errors "service 'key agent/mac hal' (keyagent/machaldrivers) failed start. verify have sufficient privileges start system services." have tried following instructions seemed answer this: i had exact same problem, on 17" mbp. in case, win7 event manager reported bootcamp 3.2 services failed install, in particular keyagent service (and without no apple keyboard , functions , apparently bootcamp icon doesn't show in system tray). event manager said bootcamp installer did not have sufficient permissions, went dial down user account control (uac) settings (in fact, turned off). should have seen when bootcamp 3.2 update running window ask permission continue (allow software install). instead, there silent failure. ok, turning off uac gives p
