Samsung U28D590D 4K Display with Late '13 rMBP 15" (750M)

hi all,

first of all, sorry if bit of "repeat" thread. please bare me.

have late 2013 rmbp 750m graphics , i'm looking @ getting 4k monitor can use laptop in desktop mode.

basically, don't want "downgrade" in screen quality i've been looking @ affordable 4k options. i'm pull trigger on samsung 28" u28d590d need clear things.

1: macbook able play 4k monitor?

2: cable use connect macbook external display 4k? (if possible) thunderbolt display port or use hdmi cable? (i believe give me 1080p)

3: hookup ps3 display, work?

3. many entries confirm it's possible. monitor has hdmi connector, why think wouldn't work.
