iPad A8X fast as?

hello guys,

wondering think a8x fast when compared intel's cpu (desktop/mobile). seem recall mentioned a7 fast core 2 duo approaching speed can comparable few years old desktop cpu?

think able fit new a8x in terms of cpu , in terms of gpu performance?

guesses?

 

the thing if you're comparing apples oranges, you'll end not making sense. a8x chip fastest tablet/mobile soc available on market today. apple pushing real life usage speed comparing android tablets, outpaces them far since main concern apple boosting graphics speed , base processing speed things seem instantaneous or @ least quick on newer ipads. add in software optimization , advanced apis metal, , ipad starts competing in arenas laptops sitting. 64 bit architecture of apple's newest ipads , iphones compare macs running on dual core i5s. it's capable of processing photo edits jpgs @ same speed macbook air. main bottleneck ipads @ point storage speed , writing changes storage takes considerably longer pcie ssds used in macbook airs. next generation ipads whenever come start see faster bus speeds , storage speeds in order supplant x86 architecture existent in laptops , desktop machines. @ least, that's direction hope things going because i'm tired of carrying laptop , want carry tablet more advanced processing capabilities.
