A Finder "alias" from the dock = system sound?

is me? when clicking on finder or other "alias" has been dragged dock, system notification sound when window opens. don't remember ever hearing before. me? if so, idea how rid of that? (could try trashing com.systemsound plist regenerate if deleted?) thought finder alias's, notice happened on "forklift" app alias. happens when launching form dock. same alias anywhere else doesn't "ping" sound. odd . . . . :confused:

using symbolic links instead of alias links fix issue.

Error installing Key Agent drivers in Windows 7

i reinstalled fresh bootcamp (windows 7 x64) on imac running yosemite. i'm having difficulty installing drivers, had first bypass issue x64bit drivers running through cmd admin errors "service 'key agent/mac hal' (keyagent/machaldrivers) failed start. verify have sufficient privileges start system services." have tried following instructions seemed answer this: i had exact same problem, on 17" mbp. in case, win7 event manager reported bootcamp 3.2 services failed install, in particular keyagent service (and without no apple keyboard , functions , apparently bootcamp icon doesn't show in system tray). event manager said bootcamp installer did not have sufficient permissions, went dial down user account control (uac) settings (in fact, turned off). should have seen when bootcamp 3.2 update running window ask permission continue (allow software install). instead, there silent failure. ok, turning off uac gives p
