so i've been pretty set on getting 21.5 imac following specs;
3.1ghz (turbo 3.9) i7 processor
16gb ram
1tb fusion drive
nvidia geforce gt 750m 1gb
apple care plan (which i'm thinking must given money involved) comes total of £1818
though 27" model seems catching eye little more , though felt touch big feel accomodate on desk. having , stacked following spec on it;
3.4ghz (turbo 3.8ghz ) i5 processor
8gb ram (kept minimum easy , cheaper install on 27" model)
3tb fusion drive
nvidia geforce gtx 775m 2gb
again apple care plan comes £2018 £200 more 21.5 imac
i'm still pondering , couple of months off getting yet wanted gather thoughts people on they'd go for?
in terms of budget i've not set 1 i'm putting money solid buy don't want overly limit myself think it's safe 27" £2018 mentioned above max i'd go to.
when comes use i'll honest , regular general web browsing etc. maybe light video/photo editing nothing intense want safe in knowedlge there's more power if ever needed , given macs in general pricy i'd prefer have suitable power under hood amount of future proofing done intend keep while , not these media professionals sell off , upgrade after 2 odd years.
quick recap, 21.5" imac being considered maxed out top of line 1 hard drive space (1tb fusion drive), ram , best processor whilst 27" 1 maybe step down in terms of processor still has best i5 processor available on imac, 3tb fusion drive , better graphics card...
update
going retina imac, know stated absolute peak budget around £2k after seeing in person i'm going have make work i'll delay purchase couple of months i'm cool with.
spec have in mind is;
upgraded i7 cpu
upgraded m295x gpu
8gb ram (will increase myself @ later date)
256gb ssd (will add 1 external storage via usb 3 or tb)
i forget fusion drive , largest ssd can afford. 27" screen great, more useful 21", imo.
