Spilled Coconut Oil on Late 2013 MBPr '15 Keyboard

hi, in tragic turn of events spilled coconut oil on mbpr keyboard. ever since incident keys have been less responsive, when mbpr cold making coconut oil solid. mbpr warms responsiveness partially returns not quite @ level @ if there no spillage.

took mbpr genius bar , ruled liquid damage. while valid diagnosis thing malfunctioning several keys on keyboard. after research concluded coconut oil not conductive shouldn't cause future electrical issues. main problem once again little bit of coconut trapped inside little gel/plastic button sensor. standard price liquid damage repair around $1300 know laptop needs new keyboard $400.

being case guys recommend perhaps clean inside of mbpr keyboard or know might able keyboard fixed (i aware speakers , trackpad connected keyboard). apple protocol forces them replace hardware in laptop $1300 when know fact isn't necessary. think best course of action is?

if happened me, buying new or used (same year) computer. can't see spending $1300.00 repairs.

try taking short route. however, appears ok end being lot worse later on. wouldn't want looming on me every time turned on computer.
