Any info on the new Apple Photo's app?

this announced way in june-27, "apple kills aperture, says new ‘photos’ app replace it".
i've not heard since then.....nda keeping loose lips sealed shut or ??
2015 6 weeks ahead......

new photos app, debut os x yosemite when launches fall, replace iphoto. promises more intuitive , user friendly, such, not full featured aperture offers.

apparently development of logic pro , final cut pro, 2 of apple’s other professional app offerings, continue normal. apple’s push towards making mac easier use average user, , new users arriving after using iphones , ipads, have wonder if these pro products, too, have limited lifespan. optimizations final cut pro in os x , beefy capabilities of mac pro, i’d imagine apps have long shelf life yet.

apple’s decision kill off aperture frustrate many users who’ve relied on software years. between new photos app (for casual users) , more robust third-party options adobe’s enormously popular lightroom, photo editors should still have plenty of tools @ disposal.

no news have been able find. have been doing searches articles in last month, hitting usual suspects, , tried find 'enthusiast' employee @ local apple store might have beta info.

no luck me.

guess wait , see when lightroom, capture 1, , dxo have big sale, , know when. how big sale tells how photos be.

if going import aperture , non-destructive edits, though, has @ least capable in regard (in theory).
