Cracked iPad mini with Retina Display

i dropped ipad mini retina , cracked display. have rugged case it, fell in wrong way , display hit edge of coffee table on way down.

online, says cost $249 through apple fix display.

joking?

know iphone, if take device apple store, can fix display in-store lower price. hold true ipad well?

cannot believe can charge such unimaginable price replace $5 piece of glass. don't realize how infuriating customers? can't believe charge same amount repair cracked display charge if had dropped in liquid , destroyed every component. impoverished college student , cannot afford such high repair price. have of ever done replacement yourselves?

how easy replace parts ordered online?

apple replaces entire unit because glass glued casing, , not easy replace glass customers (at least not same quality expectations).

can order part yourself, bit of task replace. not recommend diy job inexperienced disassembling ipads. if have apple replace unit fee, new (refurbed) ipad have 90 day warranty. sent ipad.

Error installing Key Agent drivers in Windows 7

i reinstalled fresh bootcamp (windows 7 x64) on imac running yosemite. i'm having difficulty installing drivers, had first bypass issue x64bit drivers running through cmd admin errors "service 'key agent/mac hal' (keyagent/machaldrivers) failed start. verify have sufficient privileges start system services." have tried following instructions seemed answer this: i had exact same problem, on 17" mbp. in case, win7 event manager reported bootcamp 3.2 services failed install, in particular keyagent service (and without no apple keyboard , functions , apparently bootcamp icon doesn't show in system tray). event manager said bootcamp installer did not have sufficient permissions, went dial down user account control (uac) settings (in fact, turned off). should have seen when bootcamp 3.2 update running window ask permission continue (allow software install). instead, there silent failure. ok, turning off uac give...
