Test for someone with m295x, need to compare my m290x

so picked base model imac retina. silky smooth until hooked other 1440p monitor up. mission control pretty laggy. remove 1440p , perfect again.

see test out on upgraded video card. use mission control bunch willing return computer , order upgraded 1 if going laggy.

wasn't laggy gets in video, shows mean.

edit: way test if have m295x, no 1440p monitor, open bunch of windows , crank scaling way top. if on 290x without external display hooked can laggy well.
 

i can't imagine upgrade fix kind of lag. looks more software issue (nothing can fix, apple can fix).

New 2014 Mac Mini as living room media unit... general questions :)

hi everyone, relatively new apple world (came on android/windows) can impressed , happy made switch hoping insight experts here new setup. got new 2014 mini our living room media unit (will playing music, netflix, movies, internet browsing etc) - havent hooked yet. have 2 bookshelf speakers, 1 sub woofer, , center speaker sound setup goes avr, , of course flat screen tv. 1) question -- mini support 2.1 sound via hdmi avr? losing audio quality or audio features using mac mini? 2) internet browsing, there app or interface make ui better fit living room tv? i've read font/icons can hard read if enlarge them because mac mini not meant big tv? 3) plan plex server , plex media player mac mini, other loading movie/tv collection , playing off tv, there else cool missing here can this? 4) if have mac mini media unit, there purpose in owning roku @ point? thank you!!   ...
