OS X Server Better on 2012 or 2014 Mac Mini?

ok, waiting announcement, looks apple jumped shark, .... if wanted run os x server itunes server, tm backup (to external drive) , vm, better have 2012 (2.3 or 2.6ghz) quad-core intel 4000 igpu or 2014 (2.6ghz) dual-core iris pro?

in advance help.

for describe (particularly vm) think you'd better off 2012 quad core. doesn't sound graphics performance important you, , hd4000 adequate light gaming & video work.

if run vm , want other server tasks run concurrently think there real advantage having quad-core , maxing out ram (16gb).
