Loading iTunes library through Bootcamp

hi all,

simple question -- i've got huge music library on mac , want able listen music through itunes when i'm in windows. i've manually changed itunes library mac directory , tried holding shift when opening itunes set library mac part. when latter says it's on locked disk , don't have write permissions.

appreciate when in windows, can't write hfs+ formatted partition. want play music in library, , import windows. don't need make changes or write data -- want able play music without having duplicate library/recreate playlists.

have ideas?

it's okay, answered own question. copied mac itunes library pasted windows. it's got songs ... problem need manually point each file mac side.

other ideas? :)

answered own question again. reset itunes media folder location mac partition , worked.

tl;dr:

1) copy itunes library file mac windows
2) hold shift , open itunes, point library 1 in windows side copied
3) set itunes media location mac side

New 2014 Mac Mini as living room media unit... general questions :)

hi everyone, relatively new apple world (came on android/windows) can impressed , happy made switch hoping insight experts here new setup. got new 2014 mini our living room media unit (will playing music, netflix, movies, internet browsing etc) - havent hooked yet. have 2 bookshelf speakers, 1 sub woofer, , center speaker sound setup goes avr, , of course flat screen tv. 1) question -- mini support 2.1 sound via hdmi avr? losing audio quality or audio features using mac mini? 2) internet browsing, there app or interface make ui better fit living room tv? i've read font/icons can hard read if enlarge them because mac mini not meant big tv? 3) plan plex server , plex media player mac mini, other loading movie/tv collection , playing off tv, there else cool missing here can this? 4) if have mac mini media unit, there purpose in owning roku @ point? thank you!!   ...
