Macbook pro Mid 2012 (Non Retina)

does buying macbook pro (mid 2012) non retina version (i.e. late 2014) make sense? i'm little low on budget, , far retina version goes, see no point in getting cannot upgrade! mcbp, mid 2012 upgradable in every angle, ram , space. there rumors going discontinued , updates unlikely. should go this?? have no other option. :( maybe mac mini want that's portable screen.

thanks!!

not really

to honest doesn't make lot of sense spend same amount of cash on computer has 2-3 year old hardware. can deals on 2013 rmbp , no matter how upgrade 2012 it'll never 2013 or 2014.

thunderbolt 2 , ac wifi big bonus , better battery life , potential more osx updates big things on own. retina screen should push towards alone, makes difference text heavy workloads....

upgradeability means nothing when machine getting has best stuff can have or few years
