Refurb or Brand new?

to refurb or not refurb!

have decided upgrade macbook air , upgrade macbook pro retina, bit of overkill work do, need retina display , spec bump 1.4ghz, 4gb ram , 128 ssd nice.

still tossing between 13 inch , 15 inch, have 13 inch air , whilst good, can't feel little screen space nice. use without external display @ home. portability isn't bad, take macbook work everyday , 15 inch won't fit in bag, 10 seconds walk car , same car work can carry in sleeve.

15 inch bring price increase though! hoping sell macbook £650 , have £100 of vouchers christmas giving me £750 towards it.

brand new 2014 model cost me £1471 education pricing, thats 16/256
refurb of exact model £1359

can couple of refurb machines bit cheaper, although these 2013 machines. 8/256 @ £1189 , 8/512 £1379

whats deal refurbs? don't want loop of sending faulty refurbs until lucky one. want machine number of years, don't know if want add year onto lifespan buying 2013 machine!

i've upgraded mac mini macbook air (needed portable) onto macbook pro able settle at. want able use macbook few years

the difference box come in - new or refurb faulty - new or refurb problem free 6 years

go refurb! highly consider 2013 models - no real difference between 2013 , 2014 - small upgrade between models in long time. saves ton of $$
