Why are there not more custom built iPhones...?

back when starting common people have pc in homes, when told me "built custom computers" thought on par brain surgeons, , remember 1 guy upgrading ram on computer friend, whopping 2gb 4gb (all 4gb on 1 piece of ram, wow!), , stuck me how impressed confidentially reach right side of computer , that... , if memory serves me correctly, common people bit impressed if either build computer or work on one. now, fast forwarding 100 years (seems it) present, it's silly if don't swap out own hd, ram, or video card if need upgrade. if you're 12 years old. familiarity computers has made them seem more simple...

maybe i'm missing something, there reason people aren't taking apart old iphones make cool or different? putting in whatever equivalent of hd os of iphone 4 ios5 or something, iphone 6plus? if nothing else, cool , different- plus have original google maps app (which still miss) or youtube app came in ios5 there no ads... , on retina screen... of course usability standpoint iphone 6plus better comes iphone 4, between instagram, youtube, , on macrumours pretty cool have totally different show off.... seems few generations iphone nobody out there making frankenstein type of phone parts different generations, if nothing else other show off on youtube... (let's face it, these days that's become what's considered reasonable thing pursue... people cutting them in half, boiling them, blending them, burning them...) question parts impossibly un-interchangeable? there zillion parts phones on ebay everyday, , mint iphone 4 or4s goes less pair of sneakers anymore... guess i've been waiting pop up, , not way of has.... (and given iphone's small size, there's ipads too...)

if there few hurdles don't know interesting know of them... or reasons might think why nobody bothers this...

because impossible.
