hi, new macrumors forum , have purchased first iphone. far i'm impressed it's intuitive , easy learn functions. 1 of major selling points me face time. it's awesome make phone call , see , interact grandkids!

bought halo screen protector iphone 5c , can receive free pack them if leave positive review here goes... how thick , stiff film , yet phone still responsive have careful typing or type wrong letter. pack included 3 films , cleaning cloth needed because had trouble keeping fingerprints , dust off screen. film has slight tackiness had careful not touch it. first try learning experience , had disposed of successful second screen protector film. happy results , recommend product.;)

New 2014 Mac Mini as living room media unit... general questions :)

hi everyone, relatively new apple world (came on android/windows) can impressed , happy made switch hoping insight experts here new setup. got new 2014 mini our living room media unit (will playing music, netflix, movies, internet browsing etc) - havent hooked yet. have 2 bookshelf speakers, 1 sub woofer, , center speaker sound setup goes avr, , of course flat screen tv. 1) question -- mini support 2.1 sound via hdmi avr? losing audio quality or audio features using mac mini? 2) internet browsing, there app or interface make ui better fit living room tv? i've read font/icons can hard read if enlarge them because mac mini not meant big tv? 3) plan plex server , plex media player mac mini, other loading movie/tv collection , playing off tv, there else cool missing here can this? 4) if have mac mini media unit, there purpose in owning roku @ point? thank you!!   ...
