Put my 1TB SSD in an USB3 or Thunderbolt enclosure for Max Speed?

hey everyone.

after reading forums , info on internet decided new imac retina (4,0 , better graphic) instead of nmp.
read benchmarks @ barefeat, know internal flash not fastest (at least slower of nmp). decided 256mb version, because external ssd cheaper , not slower. didn't want fusion drive - no hard drive in imac!!!!

habe 6 month old samsung evo 840 1tb ssd leftover previous 6 year old macpro 3,1. want use main working drive samples, video editing , stuff. have promise pegasus2 raid r4.

question:
should put ssd in usb3 or thunderbolt enclosure?
see benefit expensive thunderbolt enclosure?

big "and" if thunderbolt need enclosure 2 thunderbolt ports because have other stuff need connect. such device exist?

experience usb3 enclosure can transfer full speed of samsung ssd?

suggestions or ideas?
want have ultra fast system :)

oh , last question: there thunderbolt2 enclosure 2 ssds raid0 can recommend?
read test of lacie little big drive 2 pcie ssds , 1tb - 1200 euros... bit much. second samsung evo around 350 euros , raid enclosure tb2 nice :)

i have late 2013 27" imac , when first got used cheapie usb 3 enclosure 4 drives; not happy experience, disconnect, if imac went sleep , had nothing problems it. bought thunderbay iv enclosure owc.com , has been fabulous. takes 4 drives, regular 3.5' or 2.5' or ssd, have use apple's software raid if want raid otherwise 4 individual disks. has 2 thunderbolt ports, no tb2 fast enough.
