so, without further ado, despite protestations buy iphone 6 on dead body due 1gb of ram...

sigh. i'm proud owner of 64gb 6 plus.

came decision after buying note 4 , using few days. thankfully carrier offered 1 time change of handset within 14 days , took them on offer. although note 4 superb performance-wise, , didn't reload browser tabs, missed apps , wasn't chuffed note's build quality either. despite having metal rim , being solid, had wobbly volume key rocker , fabled 's pen' cheap & nasty affair. yeah, i'm still unhappy 1gb of ram , fact lots of apps still aren't optimised screen, it's nice phone. no loose buttons either! thank goodness, because iphone 5 plagued day one.

haven't encountered lag yet , ios 8 seems performing champ. signal strength better i5 ever was. oh , battery life phenomenal! far i'm pretty happy camper, webpage reloading aside.

New 2014 Mac Mini as living room media unit... general questions :)

hi everyone, relatively new apple world (came on android/windows) can impressed , happy made switch hoping insight experts here new setup. got new 2014 mini our living room media unit (will playing music, netflix, movies, internet browsing etc) - havent hooked yet. have 2 bookshelf speakers, 1 sub woofer, , center speaker sound setup goes avr, , of course flat screen tv. 1) question -- mini support 2.1 sound via hdmi avr? losing audio quality or audio features using mac mini? 2) internet browsing, there app or interface make ui better fit living room tv? i've read font/icons can hard read if enlarge them because mac mini not meant big tv? 3) plan plex server , plex media player mac mini, other loading movie/tv collection , playing off tv, there else cool missing here can this? 4) if have mac mini media unit, there purpose in owning roku @ point? thank you!!   ...
