MacBook Pro suddenly running slow

hi all,
few weeks ago, mbp seemed slowed down - @ time attributed adding lot of music @ once old external drive (from older mac, don't think there have been sketchy it) , coming close filling memory, since i've freed 15gb of space. shut down every other night, , repair disk permissions (maybe once week). there else should doing? updating os or hurt likely? there chance virus? seems run when restarted, end of day slow... know mac little out of date, i'd still love make last while longer.

i kind of having same issue until yesterday when went apple store near me. plugged in because thought hd failing again. said hd good. wrong in 1 of os files. had rewrite hd , boot brand new comp. took 10 min , it's running fast day bought

repairing permissions every other day ect. mine getting pretty sluggish

Error installing Key Agent drivers in Windows 7

i reinstalled fresh bootcamp (windows 7 x64) on imac running yosemite. i'm having difficulty installing drivers, had first bypass issue x64bit drivers running through cmd admin errors "service 'key agent/mac hal' (keyagent/machaldrivers) failed start. verify have sufficient privileges start system services." have tried following instructions seemed answer this: i had exact same problem, on 17" mbp. in case, win7 event manager reported bootcamp 3.2 services failed install, in particular keyagent service (and without no apple keyboard , functions , apparently bootcamp icon doesn't show in system tray). event manager said bootcamp installer did not have sufficient permissions, went dial down user account control (uac) settings (in fact, turned off). should have seen when bootcamp 3.2 update running window ask permission continue (allow software install). instead, there silent failure. ok, turning off uac give...

Unable to connect to wifi - 10.6.8

my isp forced me buy 3.0 docsis modem, once installed had reset router well. mb pro connected newly setup network fine 30 min. stopped working after having configured network security. issue has nothing network security, allow me explain... when select neighbors locked network, click connect , guess @ password, computer returns "invalid password". when same on own network connected to, says "connection failed". tells me has storage of information network had connected since implementing desired settings network. "connection failed" error repeatedly get. cached info not being updated or deleted. tried deleting .plist files, nothing. tried restarting, nothing. tries "new location" trick, nothing. appreciated. running 10.6.8.   Forums Macs macOS ...
