What Does OEM Mean?

1) know oem stands for, it's original equipment manufacturer, mean?

for example: foxconn makes thunderbolt cables before apple puts logo on it, it's unbranded foxconn product or "oem", since original manufacturers... right?

2) oem fancy way of saying it's generic?

reason ask, because i'm trying figure out if these thunderbolt cables found on ebay "genuine" apple products or generic crap break in week. need buy 15 of them i'm trying minimize cost.

here guy selling "genuine oem apple thunderbolt cables", they're in original box. bring made third , final question:

3) how oem products find way marketplace? did fall off of truck?
 

i guess you've never heard of google or wikipedia:

"oem original equipment manufacturer, original manufacturer of component product, may resold company."

differentiates brand of product actual manufacturer of product. there no brand product sold "white box" or unbranded item. may exact same product branded one, without brand. market exact same way every other product, minus name , promotion.

Error installing Key Agent drivers in Windows 7

i reinstalled fresh bootcamp (windows 7 x64) on imac running yosemite. i'm having difficulty installing drivers, had first bypass issue x64bit drivers running through cmd admin errors "service 'key agent/mac hal' (keyagent/machaldrivers) failed start. verify have sufficient privileges start system services." have tried following instructions seemed answer this: i had exact same problem, on 17" mbp. in case, win7 event manager reported bootcamp 3.2 services failed install, in particular keyagent service (and without no apple keyboard , functions , apparently bootcamp icon doesn't show in system tray). event manager said bootcamp installer did not have sufficient permissions, went dial down user account control (uac) settings (in fact, turned off). should have seen when bootcamp 3.2 update running window ask permission continue (allow software install). instead, there silent failure. ok, turning off uac gives p
