Adobe subscription question.

i have ordered refurb 2013 rmbp , not own adobe software. planning on purchasing $10 month ps , lr. hang on forums people seem feel ripoff , dislike adobe subscription model.

me $120 year seems great, have no student pricing. ps alone runs hundreds of $$ , lr5 $150. feel i'm missing something.

don't subscription plan, why? i'm not trying pick fight either want make best choice before purchase software.
 

the creative cloud subscription fine.

disadavantages are:

- not owning software (having connect net every 30-days)
- losing things saved in cc if ever discontinue
- being forced buy lr , ps if need 1 of them

other great deal free upgrades , suncing between devices resonable price. go :)

New 2014 Mac Mini as living room media unit... general questions :)

hi everyone, relatively new apple world (came on android/windows) can impressed , happy made switch hoping insight experts here new setup. got new 2014 mini our living room media unit (will playing music, netflix, movies, internet browsing etc) - havent hooked yet. have 2 bookshelf speakers, 1 sub woofer, , center speaker sound setup goes avr, , of course flat screen tv. 1) question -- mini support 2.1 sound via hdmi avr? losing audio quality or audio features using mac mini? 2) internet browsing, there app or interface make ui better fit living room tv? i've read font/icons can hard read if enlarge them because mac mini not meant big tv? 3) plan plex server , plex media player mac mini, other loading movie/tv collection , playing off tv, there else cool missing here can this? 4) if have mac mini media unit, there purpose in owning roku @ point? thank you!!   ...
