iPad Thoughts on protecting your new iPad Air 2?

so i'm upgrading 4 air 2, , i've been quite pleased , protection i'm getting current configuration, apple smart cover (leather), , icarbons white backing (when still sent cutout apple logo ;) ). ipad 4 has remained in pretty perfect condition.

far new air 2 have on preorder, thinking of going apple smart cover, despite dislike of polyurethane, , i've preordered skinomi clear screen protector (which won't use), , backing (which use). feel i'm doing best can options available. else have thoughts?
 

was using ipad 4 no protection except smart cover, haven't used recently, , mbp sleeve transport (with a4 folders). had couple of short scratches on back, screen pristine. gonna put tempered glass screen protector on time, jot touch pp on way hands , little bit worried it. other that, put nothing, or perhaps icarbons skin if someday scratches on back.

New 2014 Mac Mini as living room media unit... general questions :)

hi everyone, relatively new apple world (came on android/windows) can impressed , happy made switch hoping insight experts here new setup. got new 2014 mini our living room media unit (will playing music, netflix, movies, internet browsing etc) - havent hooked yet. have 2 bookshelf speakers, 1 sub woofer, , center speaker sound setup goes avr, , of course flat screen tv. 1) question -- mini support 2.1 sound via hdmi avr? losing audio quality or audio features using mac mini? 2) internet browsing, there app or interface make ui better fit living room tv? i've read font/icons can hard read if enlarge them because mac mini not meant big tv? 3) plan plex server , plex media player mac mini, other loading movie/tv collection , playing off tv, there else cool missing here can this? 4) if have mac mini media unit, there purpose in owning roku @ point? thank you!!   ...
