iOS 8 calling problems

im curious if else has experienced same problem. i'm having specific problems iphone 6 plus on ios 8.0.2. when @ home , connected wifi can receive calls fine. have mba running yosemite pb. both of these devices connected same icloud account. can send , receive calls on mba via iphone fine. problem when leaving. after moving away wifi connection , connecting at&t's lte network, phone not complete call. initiate call, phone respond, call not go through. no ringing or indication call being processed. ive heard people i'm trying call, receive call , answer silence. on end phone goes "call failed" screen. toggling airplane mode on & off corrects , there phone behaves normal.

New 2014 Mac Mini as living room media unit... general questions :)

hi everyone, relatively new apple world (came on android/windows) can impressed , happy made switch hoping insight experts here new setup. got new 2014 mini our living room media unit (will playing music, netflix, movies, internet browsing etc) - havent hooked yet. have 2 bookshelf speakers, 1 sub woofer, , center speaker sound setup goes avr, , of course flat screen tv. 1) question -- mini support 2.1 sound via hdmi avr? losing audio quality or audio features using mac mini? 2) internet browsing, there app or interface make ui better fit living room tv? i've read font/icons can hard read if enlarge them because mac mini not meant big tv? 3) plan plex server , plex media player mac mini, other loading movie/tv collection , playing off tv, there else cool missing here can this? 4) if have mac mini media unit, there purpose in owning roku @ point? thank you!!   ...
