this situation got customer other day (i work telecommunication company):
didn't know icloud password, had find iphone on , wanted stop asking them every 3 seconds sign icloud, , of course couldn't sign out of because had find iphone on.
friends old iphone , communicated him on phone , asking him things rid of icloud guys phone sold too.
tried reset password, , sent confirmation hotmail don't know password that, , tried resetting hotmail worst experience of life , didn't work either.
called apple, got nicest lady ever, needed speak owner of icloud, didn't have in store, , said in situation can't reset password send next tier in our tech support , work you.
been few weeks , have not heard him assume apple runs , has policy set in extreme cases reset passwords on phone?
interesting situation thought i'd share experience if in need of help.
i had happen in past, not same, similar extent.
able call , resolved on phone speaking 2nd level support.
