Anyone else switch from iPad to Surface Pro 3?

reasons made switch:

1. split screen. never happy multitasking in ios. it's slow, apps have weird "refresh" delay when switch them, can't 2 things @ once in ios. split screen in metro think solves problem.

2. note taking. stylus , onenote phenomenal. tried several styluses , note taking apps ipad , nothing came close how nice note taking on sp3.

3. keyboard cover. sick , tired of bad bluetooth covers ipad. how simple keyboard cover sp3.

4. having full os. can run full desktop apps when want, have file explorer, usb , lot of added benefits this.

still have ipad 3, , thinner , lighter sp3, that's it. has similar battery life , other maybe being more stable, considerably worse sp3 in every category matters me. if apple came out tablet above features , os x though, dump sp3 in heartbeat ;)
 

i did, wouldn't compare ipad - specs on surface rival on macbook air, , lower model macbook pros (and trumps screens on of models 3:2 aspect ratio imo).

New 2014 Mac Mini as living room media unit... general questions :)

hi everyone, relatively new apple world (came on android/windows) can impressed , happy made switch hoping insight experts here new setup. got new 2014 mini our living room media unit (will playing music, netflix, movies, internet browsing etc) - havent hooked yet. have 2 bookshelf speakers, 1 sub woofer, , center speaker sound setup goes avr, , of course flat screen tv. 1) question -- mini support 2.1 sound via hdmi avr? losing audio quality or audio features using mac mini? 2) internet browsing, there app or interface make ui better fit living room tv? i've read font/icons can hard read if enlarge them because mac mini not meant big tv? 3) plan plex server , plex media player mac mini, other loading movie/tv collection , playing off tv, there else cool missing here can this? 4) if have mac mini media unit, there purpose in owning roku @ point? thank you!!   ...
