Poor download speeds on MacBook Pro

i'm getting extremely slow download speeds on mac. doesn't matter if i'm on wifi or ethernet, @ home or @ office (both have fast internet), or website i'm downloading from. consistently less ~1mb down.

have 13" macbook pro retina (late 2013) w/ 16gb ram , 512gb ssd.

have tips or things can try? beyond frustrating!

your download speed more dependent upon speed of internet connection, not rmbp. sounds isp throttling connection speed. you're not using clear (now owned sprint), you?

Error installing Key Agent drivers in Windows 7

i reinstalled fresh bootcamp (windows 7 x64) on imac running yosemite. i'm having difficulty installing drivers, had first bypass issue x64bit drivers running through cmd admin errors "service 'key agent/mac hal' (keyagent/machaldrivers) failed start. verify have sufficient privileges start system services." have tried following instructions seemed answer this: i had exact same problem, on 17" mbp. in case, win7 event manager reported bootcamp 3.2 services failed install, in particular keyagent service (and without no apple keyboard , functions , apparently bootcamp icon doesn't show in system tray). event manager said bootcamp installer did not have sufficient permissions, went dial down user account control (uac) settings (in fact, turned off). should have seen when bootcamp 3.2 update running window ask permission continue (allow software install). instead, there silent failure. ok, turning off uac gives p
