Have MBA, Purchases Note 10.1, Thinking Surface Pro 3??

i have been in apple world 3 years (iphone , mba)


had 2012, 2013 , 2014 macbook air (selling + bb student discount):apple:

(today) purchased samsung galaxy note 10.1 2014 edition school. thought solution take notes on powerpoints class , save them digitally. well...... have convert ppt pdf in order take notes on them, , loses color on pictures , makes them b&w??? might return because not solution need (unless has suggestion). never take freeform notes (without powerpoints present.)

looking @ microsoft surface pro 3, hated windows when used (win 7) functionality , versatility seem like. played sp3 @ tigerdirect , bestbuy had no less 6 people asking me if needed couldn't feel it, annoyed , left.

cannot afford keep mba , buy sp3, thinking of selling mba, returning gn10.1 , using 10% off bestbuy coupon sp3 i5 256 8gb. in many ways makes me sad part mba.:(:(:(

know sound indecisive, im looking experience of above device combinations.

do have 11 or 13-inch macbook air?

have figure out want device do.

have never seen surface 3 pro in person yet. surface pro 2 good, portable , light, , versatile. however, thought screen small , keyboard not 1 in laptop. surface pro 3 seems address these features. 12-inch screen 3:2 aspect ratio looks great; particularly think have screen not wide, if screen small. so, think useful device , buy if need multi-purpose device.

have never used galaxy note extensively. however, android tablets never interested me. may be, not run software need.

depending on want, answer may vary. tablet not replace laptop, if runs ios or android or windows rt. if need tablet functionality , need laptop, surface pro 3 best choice. if don't need tablet, there many options of thin-and-light laptops out there, running either windows or os x.

Error installing Key Agent drivers in Windows 7

i reinstalled fresh bootcamp (windows 7 x64) on imac running yosemite. i'm having difficulty installing drivers, had first bypass issue x64bit drivers running through cmd admin errors "service 'key agent/mac hal' (keyagent/machaldrivers) failed start. verify have sufficient privileges start system services." have tried following instructions seemed answer this: i had exact same problem, on 17" mbp. in case, win7 event manager reported bootcamp 3.2 services failed install, in particular keyagent service (and without no apple keyboard , functions , apparently bootcamp icon doesn't show in system tray). event manager said bootcamp installer did not have sufficient permissions, went dial down user account control (uac) settings (in fact, turned off). should have seen when bootcamp 3.2 update running window ask permission continue (allow software install). instead, there silent failure. ok, turning off uac give...

Unable to connect to wifi - 10.6.8

my isp forced me buy 3.0 docsis modem, once installed had reset router well. mb pro connected newly setup network fine 30 min. stopped working after having configured network security. issue has nothing network security, allow me explain... when select neighbors locked network, click connect , guess @ password, computer returns "invalid password". when same on own network connected to, says "connection failed". tells me has storage of information network had connected since implementing desired settings network.
