First time replacing hard drive. Need some advice

hi guys. have mid 2009 macbook pro (the first aluminum body one). it's been staying on white screen apple hours. computer guy told me it's hard drive needs replaced. i'm poor right i'm replacing myself- i've never done nor fixed inside mac before (other computer engineering friend opened once replace bad ram). i'm doing lot of research can right, doesn't seem terribly hard. kind of hard drive should use??? scared miss little detail , not compatible macbook. i've read people having trouble hitachi travel star bc possibly got wrong version. looking 500gb. 2.5 " think it's sata? let me know if there should check, or if have links suggestions.
 

go otherworld computing's site see hard drives have. site pretty matching right drive mbp. have tools available purchase replace drive.

fwiw, took me maybe 5 minutes unscrew screws, replace hd , put back. have online videos walk through process.

Error installing Key Agent drivers in Windows 7

i reinstalled fresh bootcamp (windows 7 x64) on imac running yosemite. i'm having difficulty installing drivers, had first bypass issue x64bit drivers running through cmd admin errors "service 'key agent/mac hal' (keyagent/machaldrivers) failed start. verify have sufficient privileges start system services." have tried following instructions seemed answer this: i had exact same problem, on 17" mbp. in case, win7 event manager reported bootcamp 3.2 services failed install, in particular keyagent service (and without no apple keyboard , functions , apparently bootcamp icon doesn't show in system tray). event manager said bootcamp installer did not have sufficient permissions, went dial down user account control (uac) settings (in fact, turned off). should have seen when bootcamp 3.2 update running window ask permission continue (allow software install). instead, there silent failure. ok, turning off uac gives p
