Great Hard disk drive for G5

i notice there lot of ssd questions on here , thought add have found. don't think ssd adds huge amount warrant effort of finding 1 supports sata 1 , isn't stupidly small. have gone instead 10,000 rpm western digital velociraptor drive. can pick these on ebay little, have decent storage levels , have sped g5 quad on boot , general program loading. link reference: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/western_digital_raptor

New 2014 Mac Mini as living room media unit... general questions :)

hi everyone, relatively new apple world (came on android/windows) can impressed , happy made switch hoping insight experts here new setup. got new 2014 mini our living room media unit (will playing music, netflix, movies, internet browsing etc) - havent hooked yet. have 2 bookshelf speakers, 1 sub woofer, , center speaker sound setup goes avr, , of course flat screen tv. 1) question -- mini support 2.1 sound via hdmi avr? losing audio quality or audio features using mac mini? 2) internet browsing, there app or interface make ui better fit living room tv? i've read font/icons can hard read if enlarge them because mac mini not meant big tv? 3) plan plex server , plex media player mac mini, other loading movie/tv collection , playing off tv, there else cool missing here can this? 4) if have mac mini media unit, there purpose in owning roku @ point? thank you!!   ...
