AT&T does not issue refund for prorated bill after switching to Verizon

maybe old news, surprised find out not refunded half month+ of service paid at&t (on postpaid account) after ported number on verizon @ iphone 6 launch.

in short, last at&t bill "pre-billed me" sept 3- oct 2nd. contacted at&t today , told

"even if cancel day after billing cycle starts still counted 1 month full service"

1 unaware of this? had asked friends (not sure how long ago) received refund.
 

it's mentioned in number of older threads around here , articles found porting elsewhere on web, don't think it's *too* recent. think it's mentioned on somewhere on at&t's site saw, , careful make sure knew when called confirm etf before ported t-mobile few days left on billing cycle.

still, it's irritating hell have pay service didn't use. sorry didn't find out enough schedule around it!

Error installing Key Agent drivers in Windows 7

i reinstalled fresh bootcamp (windows 7 x64) on imac running yosemite. i'm having difficulty installing drivers, had first bypass issue x64bit drivers running through cmd admin errors "service 'key agent/mac hal' (keyagent/machaldrivers) failed start. verify have sufficient privileges start system services." have tried following instructions seemed answer this: i had exact same problem, on 17" mbp. in case, win7 event manager reported bootcamp 3.2 services failed install, in particular keyagent service (and without no apple keyboard , functions , apparently bootcamp icon doesn't show in system tray). event manager said bootcamp installer did not have sufficient permissions, went dial down user account control (uac) settings (in fact, turned off). should have seen when bootcamp 3.2 update running window ask permission continue (allow software install). instead, there silent failure. ok, turning off uac gives p
