Space missing on my iPad Air 16GB

hi,

if @ screenshot below it's says i'm using 9.5 go of 16go ipad air's memory. yet if add numbers under figure sums 7.3 go. who's hogging space ?

the hidden sin of ipad stored cache , garbage collection. these not shown in usage breakdown. bad part of these there no means of getting rid of them short of copying off data , re-formatting ipad, putting data back.

had 16gb ipad @ last year. (i since sold 64gb version) , ended @ 1 point 7gb of cache , garbage collection. don"t listen apple when plugging itunes , doing backup everything. experience not. backup photo's yourself. backup can't afford loose. can factory reset machine, , restore itunes backup, , recover lost files own backups.

New 2014 Mac Mini as living room media unit... general questions :)

hi everyone, relatively new apple world (came on android/windows) can impressed , happy made switch hoping insight experts here new setup. got new 2014 mini our living room media unit (will playing music, netflix, movies, internet browsing etc) - havent hooked yet. have 2 bookshelf speakers, 1 sub woofer, , center speaker sound setup goes avr, , of course flat screen tv. 1) question -- mini support 2.1 sound via hdmi avr? losing audio quality or audio features using mac mini? 2) internet browsing, there app or interface make ui better fit living room tv? i've read font/icons can hard read if enlarge them because mac mini not meant big tv? 3) plan plex server , plex media player mac mini, other loading movie/tv collection , playing off tv, there else cool missing here can this? 4) if have mac mini media unit, there purpose in owning roku @ point? thank you!!   ...
