ok have 2011 macbook pro use university work, have been wondering if upgrading retina display worth it? , of course ssd speeds compared current 2011 model.

i'm thinking waiting until 12" mba announced , maybe getting 1 of those, or failing i've been thinking rmbp, need lot of storage around 1tb because save lot of work , download lot of itunes content such tv shows.

opinion on retina mbp? screen better? battery life lot better 2011 macbook pro?

it's great

i think current 13 rmbp best round thin light laptop around @ moment myself. screen fantastic great photos , video amazing text , makes reading more comfortable, anti-glare pretty viewing angles.

battery life great 7-8 hours out of light use.

ssd , ram upgrade in current 2011 pretty machine.

paying 1tb upgrade madness in opinion, can have networked storage @ home large file needs @ lower cost.

tv shows not need available time dump them on external hard drive usb 3 quick enough make less of chore used be.

if want go refurb 512gb best price storage compromise.

until see 12 inch air brings it's difficult reccomend waiting, if fine have, couple of months worth before decide.

Error installing Key Agent drivers in Windows 7

i reinstalled fresh bootcamp (windows 7 x64) on imac running yosemite. i'm having difficulty installing drivers, had first bypass issue x64bit drivers running through cmd admin errors "service 'key agent/mac hal' (keyagent/machaldrivers) failed start. verify have sufficient privileges start system services." have tried following instructions seemed answer this: i had exact same problem, on 17" mbp. in case, win7 event manager reported bootcamp 3.2 services failed install, in particular keyagent service (and without no apple keyboard , functions , apparently bootcamp icon doesn't show in system tray). event manager said bootcamp installer did not have sufficient permissions, went dial down user account control (uac) settings (in fact, turned off). should have seen when bootcamp 3.2 update running window ask permission continue (allow software install). instead, there silent failure. ok, turning off uac give...

Unable to connect to wifi - 10.6.8

my isp forced me buy 3.0 docsis modem, once installed had reset router well. mb pro connected newly setup network fine 30 min. stopped working after having configured network security. issue has nothing network security, allow me explain... when select neighbors locked network, click connect , guess @ password, computer returns "invalid password". when same on own network connected to, says "connection failed". tells me has storage of information network had connected since implementing desired settings network.
