nMP graphics memory usage on Yosemite

i have 6c stock nmp. have been using istat menus , 1 of displays bar graph showing memory usage of graphics cards. when using mavericks, card 1 memory shows not being used , card 2 memory shows small usage card drives display.

when running yosemite, card 1 still shows not used, card 2 shows steadily increasing memory usage on time ending 90% usage stabilizes. happens if nothing running other os.

when run handbrake on mavericks 95-99% cpu usage. when run same compresses on yosemite 85-90% cpu usage. seems strange , suspecting because of happening graphics memory.

possibly memory leak of sort in yosemite. wondering if else seeing this.

have returned using mavericks now.
