Need Recommendations for USB HUB + External HD's, etc

hi all!

i'm proud owner of new retina 5k imac , looking accessories know sure i'm in love machine. opted 512 ssd , may setting aside 100gb or windows bootcamp i'll needing external hd.

have recommendations solid usb hub allow me charge phone, ipad, etc?

in addition, i'm on lookout solid 1 tb+ external hd, compatible cable, , whatever else need solid setup. i've never used external hd's before first ssd.

advice appreciated :)

ipad requires 10 watts charge screen on. when talks mac says hey man please give me 2100 ma @ 5v xoxo -ipad

im usb hard drives, usb enclosures block smart. lost @ least 1 usb drive because had no idea drive failing.

i'm sure ssd in enclosures okay. if using mechanical hard drives in usb enclosures, take time them often


not use "hybrid" hard drives in usb enclosures, want 5v @ 700 ma , in order current usb, first has ask it. , enclosures sell in stores not ask usb hub power

when using traditional hard drives in usb enclosures of 2.5" make sure 5v @ 500 ma or less

Error installing Key Agent drivers in Windows 7

i reinstalled fresh bootcamp (windows 7 x64) on imac running yosemite. i'm having difficulty installing drivers, had first bypass issue x64bit drivers running through cmd admin errors "service 'key agent/mac hal' (keyagent/machaldrivers) failed start. verify have sufficient privileges start system services." have tried following instructions seemed answer this: i had exact same problem, on 17" mbp. in case, win7 event manager reported bootcamp 3.2 services failed install, in particular keyagent service (and without no apple keyboard , functions , apparently bootcamp icon doesn't show in system tray). event manager said bootcamp installer did not have sufficient permissions, went dial down user account control (uac) settings (in fact, turned off). should have seen when bootcamp 3.2 update running window ask permission continue (allow software install). instead, there silent failure. ok, turning off uac gives p
