Help with Apple Pay

hello all. had iphone 6 since launch day chase amazon visa card attached apple pay , been working since day 1, traded had iphone 6 plus 2 weeks ago. iphone 6 erased of settings one. entered same chase amazon visa card 6+ 2 weeks ago, accepted @ , received email stating apple pay ready use. tried @ walgreens other phone worked perfect , 1 not. shows card under settings , touch id on apple pay. when rest finger on touch id near reader nothing happens @ all. ideas? bad phone or something?
 

this may sound basic terminal nfc "working"? can go try somewhere else rule out not phone?

New 2014 Mac Mini as living room media unit... general questions :)

hi everyone, relatively new apple world (came on android/windows) can impressed , happy made switch hoping insight experts here new setup. got new 2014 mini our living room media unit (will playing music, netflix, movies, internet browsing etc) - havent hooked yet. have 2 bookshelf speakers, 1 sub woofer, , center speaker sound setup goes avr, , of course flat screen tv. 1) question -- mini support 2.1 sound via hdmi avr? losing audio quality or audio features using mac mini? 2) internet browsing, there app or interface make ui better fit living room tv? i've read font/icons can hard read if enlarge them because mac mini not meant big tv? 3) plan plex server , plex media player mac mini, other loading movie/tv collection , playing off tv, there else cool missing here can this? 4) if have mac mini media unit, there purpose in owning roku @ point? thank you!!   ...
