Care Needed when Using Google Earth on IPad??

i used google eartb first time yesterday , realised no process involved in logging out.

wifi monitor shows have used 1gb of data. no way otherwise yesterday!

coincidence?? should have consciously closed down app usual swipe action? can't think otherwise how ?i have consumed much.

tips on logging in/ out of graphic intense apps appreciated.

google earth isn't incredibly data intensive app (much less youtube or netflix or that). additionally, except few special cases, ios doesn't allow apps run in background more 10 minutes, if google earth doing in background wouldn't have been running night.

can see how cellular data each app using going settings, cellular, scrolling down , looking @ numbers under each app. numbers cumulative whenever manually reset, if you've never reset them, might difficult see used lot of data last night, since installed google earth should able rule out or rule in.

i'd suggest resetting statistics after go in , check out number google earth, way if data usage continues climb you'll able see what's using it.
