5K now or next year?

i'd new imac 5k there software supports it? i'm afraid i'll run many blurred, stretched , blow out images , icons. kind of takes away 5k experience paid for. , games?

better wait till next year, , if do, significant upgrades come?

existing software scaled 5k resolution, existing programs work great right now. software optimized 5k on time, there nothing hold right now. not run stretched, blurred, or blown out.

games, no machine in world capable of smoothly playing games high frame rate @ 5k. can continue play games @ resolutions playing them @ today.

waiting year, changes better processor, , improvements in gpu. both of these things standard every single upgrade happens every year. other major thing may upgraded in 12-17 months (at earliest) eventual new thunderbolt 3 standard, contain new display port 1.3 standard. won't come until skylake (cpu) introduced, cpu after broadwell introduced. no 1 knows sure, broadwell introduced may-july of 2015 , skylake may introduced sometime between nov 2015 , mar of 2016. what's important thunderbolt 3? enable 5k imac used external display can useful thing 5-7 years down road when imac outdated....you can still use great external monitor.

if need new computer or you're lusting after amazing display, buy now. if upgrade isn't necessary and/or money tight, maybe wouldn't hurt hold out 10-18 months , go next revision.

Error installing Key Agent drivers in Windows 7

i reinstalled fresh bootcamp (windows 7 x64) on imac running yosemite. i'm having difficulty installing drivers, had first bypass issue x64bit drivers running through cmd admin errors "service 'key agent/mac hal' (keyagent/machaldrivers) failed start. verify have sufficient privileges start system services." have tried following instructions seemed answer this: i had exact same problem, on 17" mbp. in case, win7 event manager reported bootcamp 3.2 services failed install, in particular keyagent service (and without no apple keyboard , functions , apparently bootcamp icon doesn't show in system tray). event manager said bootcamp installer did not have sufficient permissions, went dial down user account control (uac) settings (in fact, turned off). should have seen when bootcamp 3.2 update running window ask permission continue (allow software install). instead, there silent failure. ok, turning off uac gives p
