Apple TV and IOS8

we have 20 apple tv's , 200+ ipads on our network, reason tv's drop user, cannot mirror video or audio.
there no rhyme nor reason it. came into, 0 traffic in building, , wouldnt mirror. rebooted atv, , reset ipad network settings , worked. not acceptable work around staff..
these wifi'd through ap's ipv4 network.

ideas appreciated.
 

since ios 8 i've noticed lot of problems airplay devices safari's browser generates error message. frustrating.

New 2014 Mac Mini as living room media unit... general questions :)

hi everyone, relatively new apple world (came on android/windows) can impressed , happy made switch hoping insight experts here new setup. got new 2014 mini our living room media unit (will playing music, netflix, movies, internet browsing etc) - havent hooked yet. have 2 bookshelf speakers, 1 sub woofer, , center speaker sound setup goes avr, , of course flat screen tv. 1) question -- mini support 2.1 sound via hdmi avr? losing audio quality or audio features using mac mini? 2) internet browsing, there app or interface make ui better fit living room tv? i've read font/icons can hard read if enlarge them because mac mini not meant big tv? 3) plan plex server , plex media player mac mini, other loading movie/tv collection , playing off tv, there else cool missing here can this? 4) if have mac mini media unit, there purpose in owning roku @ point? thank you!!   ...
