Is the 3rd gen nano worth having at this point?

so posted on last thread, trying hold of 5g , 3g nano in red. 3g worth buying these days though? because it's littler 5g is, battery easier replace, , it's dang cute. i'm woman pockets small.

have 7g , hate tiny touch screen , lack of coverflow although small. use 5g backup if 3g's battery went down while out , about, make 5g last longer because it's favorite model. 3g worth having now, or irrelevant these days in opinion?

looks great, i've seen 1 in person once, long time ago. if has pics of 1 in comparison 5g, , being held in hand, amazing. all!
 

i had issues 3gen nano. agree, size awesome, that's why picked in day. however, on 2 of mine click wheels died within year (not sure how long click wheel supposed last under light use, on friend's classic click wheel still going strong after 5 years). unless you're collector, wouldn't buy 3gen @ time, have no more apple care , has been used/worn down already.

hello all, , thank reading problem. have old 2008 macbook. ran fine, no problems, thing tank. use phd dissertation. last week installed yosemite on it, , starts fine first boot up, work done , go sleep. typical night (other putting new os on). next morning, won't start. @ all. when power button pressed lights second, optical drive makes bzzzt (typical start noise) fans start second , heard hard disk , shuts down. nothing screen @ all. if hold down button, lasts 4 seconds before front light blinks , computer goes dead again. i've tried various combinations battery or ac power, used hotkeys (pram reset, assuming on long enough register), , waited several days battery go down bit. nothing, refuses start , have no idea why. nothing has happened it, no drops, no water, no nothing @ between time working fine, , next day not work. charge light , battery both green , no problem there. took out , reinserted memory in case well. ...
