Copy songs & photos to ATV1 ?

it seems lot of functionality has either been hidden or deleted recent itunes updates.

have atv1 in our theatre (sony g90 projector supports rgbhv & ypbpr, no hdmi/dvi no avt3). use able copy songs & photos itunes. can't figure out how current version. when try drag & drop of songs won't let me.

note 1: streaming problematic several reasons; slows itunes mac down, tired or funning upstairs start itunes every time want use apple tv, , atv1 never finish loading library requiring reboot of atv , restart of itunes work.

note 2: tried monoprice hdmi>ypbpr converter atv3 no resolution in atv seem result in image , resolutions seem produce out of sync scan lines. thoughts on use atv3 appreciated.

New 2014 Mac Mini as living room media unit... general questions :)

hi everyone, relatively new apple world (came on android/windows) can impressed , happy made switch hoping insight experts here new setup. got new 2014 mini our living room media unit (will playing music, netflix, movies, internet browsing etc) - havent hooked yet. have 2 bookshelf speakers, 1 sub woofer, , center speaker sound setup goes avr, , of course flat screen tv. 1) question -- mini support 2.1 sound via hdmi avr? losing audio quality or audio features using mac mini? 2) internet browsing, there app or interface make ui better fit living room tv? i've read font/icons can hard read if enlarge them because mac mini not meant big tv? 3) plan plex server , plex media player mac mini, other loading movie/tv collection , playing off tv, there else cool missing here can this? 4) if have mac mini media unit, there purpose in owning roku @ point? thank you!!   ...
