Windows 7 HD suddenly full?

hi,

have used boot camp install windows 7 on old macbook (mid-2010) - set have 115 gb partition mac os (10.10.1) , 115 gb partition windows 7 (64 bit).

installation process went beautifully, , worked supposed have. next, installed steam on windows 7 drive, , bunch of games via steam (all combat flight sims - reason doing boot camp thing in first place).

again, fine - games work perfectly, including peripherals such xbox 360 (wired) controller , logitech extreme 3d pro joystick.

went away week, , didn't have access internet during holiday, , played games in steam's offline mode. no problems there.

- when got home yesterday, noticed, while idly looking @ windows system, windows disk full - 1 gig free. don't understand what's happened here, particularly did nothing except play games on it.

thing did new thing go boot camp manager , check boxes in trackpad/keyboard control panel work in mac system - tap click, secondary click, etc.

can me here? why windows partition full?

advice appreciated.

download sysinternals suite of tools. you'll want du.exe specifically. if google that, can download app.

cmd window run du -l 1 c:\
if wish pipe text file, along lines of du -l 1 c:\ > du.txt

du utility scan through drive , give utilization directory. number of -l (which letter l) tells du see how deep in directory tree display.

start off @ du -l 2 c:\users\[my account]

handy little utility show space went
