Is the speaker audio quality on the iPhone 6+ worse than the 5?

my previous phone 5 , audio sounded fine. have 6+ , reason, @ low medium volumes, audio (when using speaker) sounds distant , muddled. @ higher volumes it's not problem. i've not tried caseless, i've used 2 different cases , have had same problem.

alone here? seems audio directed away me or something.

it sounds same me. 1 thing noticed had adjust how held ear. used smaller size of 5s natural place speaker right on ear every time. larger size of 6 plus, when hold it, speaker not on ear, , have move phone lines ear. of sudden, it's loud 5s.

New 2014 Mac Mini as living room media unit... general questions :)

hi everyone, relatively new apple world (came on android/windows) can impressed , happy made switch hoping insight experts here new setup. got new 2014 mini our living room media unit (will playing music, netflix, movies, internet browsing etc) - havent hooked yet. have 2 bookshelf speakers, 1 sub woofer, , center speaker sound setup goes avr, , of course flat screen tv. 1) question -- mini support 2.1 sound via hdmi avr? losing audio quality or audio features using mac mini? 2) internet browsing, there app or interface make ui better fit living room tv? i've read font/icons can hard read if enlarge them because mac mini not meant big tv? 3) plan plex server , plex media player mac mini, other loading movie/tv collection , playing off tv, there else cool missing here can this? 4) if have mac mini media unit, there purpose in owning roku @ point? thank you!!   ...
