iCloud photo library (beta) problem

hello, updated iphone 6 ios 8.1 , trying activate icloud photo library (beta) have problem.
when turn on option popup says sync start when device restore icloud finished.
i'm not doing restore icloud @ time. restored icloud backup month ago when purchased new phone , seems fine: have apps, photos, contacts, etc.

1 thing noticed in photos app there's spinning wheel saying photos syncing (see screenshot) that's not true: photos there , there're no unfinished downloads.
tried erase phone , restore backup itunes didn't solve problem.

have same problem? there solution?

New 2014 Mac Mini as living room media unit... general questions :)

hi everyone, relatively new apple world (came on android/windows) can impressed , happy made switch hoping insight experts here new setup. got new 2014 mini our living room media unit (will playing music, netflix, movies, internet browsing etc) - havent hooked yet. have 2 bookshelf speakers, 1 sub woofer, , center speaker sound setup goes avr, , of course flat screen tv. 1) question -- mini support 2.1 sound via hdmi avr? losing audio quality or audio features using mac mini? 2) internet browsing, there app or interface make ui better fit living room tv? i've read font/icons can hard read if enlarge them because mac mini not meant big tv? 3) plan plex server , plex media player mac mini, other loading movie/tv collection , playing off tv, there else cool missing here can this? 4) if have mac mini media unit, there purpose in owning roku @ point? thank you!!   ...
