Mac Mini 2012 - The Gold Standard

it's becoming pretty clear future of mini doesn't good. 2014 variety first in long line of mods apple makes regain control of product end users. i'm expecting broadwell variant redesigned mba size, sans screen, no access internals. why want to? it'll glued shut, internal storage soldered, ram continue newest tradition, , it'll still crippled supporting maximum of 2 displays. recourse cpu has i'm leaning towards no more quad core processors. don't see quad core mba, afaik.

if worse leave legacy minis? in same position 2011 imac. 21.5" imac still gold standard upgradable imacs given can put 32gb of ram in there , pop out ssd.

2012 mini holds same position 21.5" 2011 imac. these minis have long time until there compelling reason leave platform. more memory 16gb (unlikely), quads supported again (doubt it), ssd standard (yes can see that), os support eol (maybe 10.10 2007 imac support says otherwise), or faster single threaded processor (not if 2014 indication of future).

Error installing Key Agent drivers in Windows 7

i reinstalled fresh bootcamp (windows 7 x64) on imac running yosemite. i'm having difficulty installing drivers, had first bypass issue x64bit drivers running through cmd admin errors "service 'key agent/mac hal' (keyagent/machaldrivers) failed start. verify have sufficient privileges start system services." have tried following instructions seemed answer this: i had exact same problem, on 17" mbp. in case, win7 event manager reported bootcamp 3.2 services failed install, in particular keyagent service (and without no apple keyboard , functions , apparently bootcamp icon doesn't show in system tray). event manager said bootcamp installer did not have sufficient permissions, went dial down user account control (uac) settings (in fact, turned off). should have seen when bootcamp 3.2 update running window ask permission continue (allow software install). instead, there silent failure. ok, turning off uac gives p
