iPhone 6 and 6 Plus Brought More Android Switchers, New Customers Than Prior Models

during today's earnings call covering first fiscal quarter of 2015, apple ceo tim cook asked sales split between 4.7-inch iphone 6 , 5.5-inch iphone 6 plus. declined provide specific numbers on split, did confirm iphone 6 popular device.

"obviously sell 74.5 million devices, popular," cook said. "both did incredibly well. we're proud of them, along iphone 5s , 5c."

according cook, there clear geographical preference iphone 6 vs iphone 6 plus. locations skewed higher iphone 6 plus preference, while others preferred iphone 6. didn't specify regions preferred devices, data has suggested asian countries favored iphone 6 plus.

cook said company getting "great feedback" quality of products they're shipping, , in emerging markets, iphone growth "absolutely stunning." company bullish on iphone going forward, expecting see lot of new adopters in q2 2015 well.

"we believe it's best smartphone in world," said cook.

apple managed reach supply/demand balance on iphone 6 , iphone 6 plus in january, when shipping dates hit 24 hours. before that, iphone supplies remained constrained throughout holiday season.

today's earnings report revealed record iphone sales, @ 74.5 million, or 46 percent growth year on year. iphone makes impressive 69 percent of apple's revenue, hit $74.6b during quarter.

Error installing Key Agent drivers in Windows 7

i reinstalled fresh bootcamp (windows 7 x64) on imac running yosemite. i'm having difficulty installing drivers, had first bypass issue x64bit drivers running through cmd admin errors "service 'key agent/mac hal' (keyagent/machaldrivers) failed start. verify have sufficient privileges start system services." have tried following instructions seemed answer this: i had exact same problem, on 17" mbp. in case, win7 event manager reported bootcamp 3.2 services failed install, in particular keyagent service (and without no apple keyboard , functions , apparently bootcamp icon doesn't show in system tray). event manager said bootcamp installer did not have sufficient permissions, went dial down user account control (uac) settings (in fact, turned off). should have seen when bootcamp 3.2 update running window ask permission continue (allow software install). instead, there silent failure. ok, turning off uac gives p
