Carrier AT&T - New Contract, Family Plan, Steal Upgrade -iPhone = Unlocked?

i know question has been asked before. on family plan. members eligible upgrade. want use 1 of family members' upgrades, upgrade iphone on line - (steal permission) family members new iphone (they continue use old iphone) line/phone not reset new 2-year contract doing switch @ at&t store.

now, if works , switch new acquired phone on family members line mine - new iphone still considered - locked or unlocked - since 'line' still free contract/new device? contract follow phone, therefore keeping locked if switch possession?

thinking of doing above unlocked iphone 6 able use overseas plan travel. , no, not wish purchase unlocked phone if still plan return after 2 weeks , continue use at&t. hope makes sense. thanks!

New 2014 Mac Mini as living room media unit... general questions :)

hi everyone, relatively new apple world (came on android/windows) can impressed , happy made switch hoping insight experts here new setup. got new 2014 mini our living room media unit (will playing music, netflix, movies, internet browsing etc) - havent hooked yet. have 2 bookshelf speakers, 1 sub woofer, , center speaker sound setup goes avr, , of course flat screen tv. 1) question -- mini support 2.1 sound via hdmi avr? losing audio quality or audio features using mac mini? 2) internet browsing, there app or interface make ui better fit living room tv? i've read font/icons can hard read if enlarge them because mac mini not meant big tv? 3) plan plex server , plex media player mac mini, other loading movie/tv collection , playing off tv, there else cool missing here can this? 4) if have mac mini media unit, there purpose in owning roku @ point? thank you!!   ...
