So Nexus 6 DID HAVE double tap to wake - Google axed it


google seems sandboxing more features , limiting user options these days. brought few times in other threads made no sense why dt2w feature wasn't added nexus 6, since few lines of code in kernel. , google had feature in nexus 9.

commits show nexus 6 did have code , google axed in favor of active display la moto x. can understand if google went down 1 route of using active display, dt2w simple add on required no additional work. why not give user option use both or 1 on other?
