How come applications are suddenly missing? (but strangely, they reappear)

this weird. happened me before, 1 of apps went missing. couldn't find anywhere search thought accidentally deleted it. did not install again surprisingly came next day. note : app used open everyday

today logic pro x missing. use everyday well. can't find it, used data recovery software check if accidentally erased it. see lots of files deleted way before app went missing, means did not accidentally erase it. also, system files in library folder still there. when try open logic pro document can't open it, instead terminal opens.

1 weird thing though. few days ago time on clock of mac changed. hours different actual time. today, same day logic pro disappeared, clock changed correct time.


has occurred here? there way fix this? don't have time machine enables guess that's not option.
hope app returns tomorrow though.

that makes no sense @ all, did go applications forum in terminal see if actual .app present. application stored on drive, if disappears i.e., not on drive anyone, cannot reappear.

may have happened odd occurring finder, or how presenting window.

maybe in odd twist drive having issues, did run diagnostic on it?

Error installing Key Agent drivers in Windows 7

i reinstalled fresh bootcamp (windows 7 x64) on imac running yosemite. i'm having difficulty installing drivers, had first bypass issue x64bit drivers running through cmd admin errors "service 'key agent/mac hal' (keyagent/machaldrivers) failed start. verify have sufficient privileges start system services." have tried following instructions seemed answer this: i had exact same problem, on 17" mbp. in case, win7 event manager reported bootcamp 3.2 services failed install, in particular keyagent service (and without no apple keyboard , functions , apparently bootcamp icon doesn't show in system tray). event manager said bootcamp installer did not have sufficient permissions, went dial down user account control (uac) settings (in fact, turned off). should have seen when bootcamp 3.2 update running window ask permission continue (allow software install). instead, there silent failure. ok, turning off uac gives p
